About Us
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Raipur is a district level organization of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) which comes under the purview of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya and has been set up with a mandate to transfer advanced agricultural technologies to the farming community of the district. KVK Raipur has excelled in bringing the modern technological packages at the farmers doorstep with the help of various instructional units. KVK Raipur primarily works to influence the other extension systems of the district, caters to the training needs of the farmers and extension functionaries, and facilitates the spread of technologies tailored to the diverse environment of farmers. Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Raipur is one of newly established Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Chhattisgarh. It was established on 5th December, 2016. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra KVK), Raipur is District Level Farm Science Centre established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, Raipur (C.G.). It is responsible for transferring agricultural technologies and research to the farmer's fields so that the farmer can gain the high productivity.
